Sahji is a queer writer based in Atlanta, GA. She has been reading romance novels since she was seven years old — the trashy kind, the kind her mother probably should have hidden better — and has been writing them for over twenty years. It was never really a choice.
She writes for the readers who need a storyline with their sex. The ones who know that desire doesn't exist in a vacuum, that attraction has a history, a texture, a reason. When you finish something Sahji has written you will know what those characters felt — not just what they did.
Her characters are messy, complicated, and sexually free in the way that only people who are truly honest with themselves can be. She doesn't write people who apologize for what they want.
